Laure began her career at W.R. Grace as the assistant to the Chairman/Director of Business Development, J. Peter Grace. Assignments in the Company include the Director of Business Development for Grace’s Southeast Asia Industrial Chemical Group based in Hong Kong and Vice President of International for Baker & Taylor, Grace’s wholesale book division. She then spent four years in the Business Development group at Ernst & Young.
Following the attacks on 9/11, Laure joined the Bloomberg Administration as the Head of International Business Development for the City of New York. Prior to joining SCRE, Laure was the Director of Economic Development and Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of Stamford, under Mayor Michael Pavia. Laure was instrumental in bringing new and iconic tenants to Stamford including Nestle Waters, Chelsea Piers, and the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Laure joined SCRE in 2015 and has been successful in representing landlords, national and local retail tenants as well as investment property buyers and sellers. Notably, on behalf of the Landlord, Laure led negotiations with Walmart to secure 180,000SF in Westminster MA for their New England regional distribution facility. Laure has developed a specialty niche at SCRE in boutique property sales.
In addition to conventional brokerage, Laure is part of the SCRE Emerging Brand Development team offering advisory services to young, expanding retailers.
Laure is a graduate of Smith College. She received her MA in Psychology from Boston College and her MBA from Harvard University. She is a board member of the W.E. Aubuchon Co., a family-owned business her grandfather started in 1908. Laure is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Connecticut.
