Charlie Manuel is a veteran retail real estate agent with over 25 years of experience in both the Connecticut and South Florida markets. Prior to joining SCRE, Charlie was with CBRE’s Miami office working on a well-established retail team focused on leasing property on behalf of both landlords and tenants. Charlie was then invited to join an investment sales team based out of CBRE’s Ft Lauderdale office where he focused on the private client space representing sellers of multi-tenant and single-tenant properties in the $2M-$25M range. Charlie was recruited by Franklin Street and joined as Director of Investment Sales/Retail where he represented private clients selling multi-tenant retail properties throughout South Florida.
Charlie’s experience includes representing national retail tenants JP Morgan Chase Bank, Washington Mutual, Amerant Bank, Cold Stone Creamery, Sally Beauty Supply, and Quiznos. As their exclusive representative Charlie successfully helped them identify, negotiate and secure high-profile locations aligned with long-term market strategies. This work involved market research and developing growth strategies, complex lease negotiations and creative problem solving and franchise development in high-density urban and suburban retail markets.
Charlie attended University of Maryland. He resides with his family in Surfside (Miami), FL and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Florida.
