Westport, CT –Saugatuck Commercial Real Estate (SCRE) is adding “Bling” and “Rackets” to the Main Street line-up in 2023. Penny Wickey represented Gorjana in leasing 1,000 SF at 74 Main Street, Westport CT and was the sole broker involved in the transaction. Gorjana, a high-end jewelry boutique based in CA, opened its first Connecticut location on Greenwich Avenue in early 2022 and anticipates opening its Westport store in Spring/Summer 2023. Gorjana operates 40 boutiques in lifestyle centers and high street locations in affluent markets nationwide.
Penny Wickey also represented Courtgirl in leasing their first bricks and mortar location, approximately 2,350 SF on the upper level of 125 Main Street, Westport, CT. Courtgirl was launched by Marina Merzel, a passionate club tennis player and branding specialist. Marina introduced the Courtgirl retail line of gift and sport related products for tennis and golf in 2019. These products are now sold in over 500 private clubs, pro shops and sports store locations in US and Europe.
